Written by Roy Oborne, Grade 6
Cover illustration by Kendra Heer

Deep in the Yukon wilderness, Jordan, a young boy who has lost his father, sets out on a hunting trip with his uncle. What begins as a pleasant trip, quickly takes a turn for the worse. Jordan, now alone, faces nature’s elements, starvation, and a persistent grizzly bear. This is a story of hardship, survival, and family.
