Testimonials

We are not just
publishing stories
written by kids.
We’re publishing confidence.

Persistence Pays Off

“I didn't win the first time or the second. I attended Ripple's Write It Workshops, kept writing and learning, and on my third try, I finally won. Sometimes, the path takes a little longer, but it's worth every step.”

Firdaus El-Darymli

Author of The Legend of the Paper Cranes

Writing That Gives Back

“I’m also grateful that the book sales go to charity. This way, my joy for writing stories can help someone else somewhere in the world, and that’s exciting to think about.”

Isabel Roscoe

Author of Memoirs of a Tree Lord

Workshops That Spark Confidence

“I enjoyed attending Ripple's writing workshops. They were fun, encouraging and collaborative, and they helped build my confidence to keep writing my story and eventually submit it to the KW4K writing contest. ”

Myah Rathi Litteljohn

Author of Path of Thorns

Growth and Reflection

“KW4K was the first time I openly shared my cancer story, and it has helped to heal me and inspire others around me.”

Alina Xiao

Author of A Piece of Me

Foster Mentorship

“Advice I give to (young writers) is it doesn’t matter if you’re writing a story or an entry to a journal, writing just about anything will give you experience.”

Christopher Smolej

Author of Escape from the Taco Shop

Cultivate a Career Path

“KW4K has impacted me in many ways. Just basically in boosting my confidence, boosting my skills, I’ve done many public speaking things in my school.”

Safaa Ali

Author of Why Peacocks Have Colorful Feathers

Develop Confidence

“I can’t begin to explain how much the KW4K experience has helped with my self-confidence in dealing with new challenges (like starting high school!).”

Olivia Simms
